Product Manager - Growth / Engagement

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Product Manager, Growth to join the Consumer Product Team who will help deepen consumer relationships from user experiences and influence Pluto TV's growth in engagement and retention. This is a position that will have an incredibly broad impact for optimizing the consumer experience across multiple Pluto TV platforms and applications.

This role will report to the Director of Product, Consumer Product.

Responsibilities

This is a meaningful role with a wide range of responsibilities, including:
• Own product management for the Growth team to help direct, prioritize and facilitate experimentation and enablement projects into appropriate development teams, and work with Consumer Product Managers around their experimentation initiatives
• Model outcomes and facilitate a cycle of learning to constantly update our models. Explore points of leverage and ultimately determine growth priorities.
• Help enable Consumer PMs to create both quantitative and qualitative data-driven decisions based on iterative experimentations for initiatives
• Directly impact the throughput of experiments and value of the insights gained, by coordinating with Project Mgmt Office, Data Testing Engineering, and Software Testing Engineering to ensure a smooth and regular release cadence
• Organize, glean and present insights gained to business stakeholders, matching the message to the audience
• Be the liaison closely working with the Consumer PMs and Business Intelligence/Data Engineering to write, prioritize and represent Consumer Product's data instrumentation requirements, and for analyzing the results of our product experimentation

Qualities / Experience We're Seeking

We believe these are the key requirements to be successful:
• At least 3 years of experience in Product Management with a recent focus on online video and consumer-facing experiences.
• Experience working on products/features for growing engagement.
• Experience using data to guide decision making and to validate changes.
• Experience working closely with Engineering teams as the product owner in an Agile environment.
• Knowledge of video streaming products, online video platforms, and AVOD/SVOD/TVOD business models.
• Experience with hypothesis-driven analysis and/or A/B tests
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or related field).
