Overview and Responsibilities

The Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting will be responsible for various accounting and financial reporting duties for the Paramount Merchandising division!

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
• Performs reconciliation of balance sheet accounts including applicable roll-forward schedules
• Prepare quarterly balance sheet decks and supporting schedules
• Perform revenue cycle duties; including billing, collections, and cash application
• Reconcile sub ledger; sub systems; and control accounts
• Process monthly/quarterly journal entries for P&L and B/S
• Provide monthly actuals reporting to Corporate Planning group
• Validate new and amended contracts in contract management system (License Maestro)
• Monitor and prepare collections reports and notify licensees/agents of pending A/R
• Act as liaison for documents and inquiries from licenses/agents
• Analyze, report and post royalty statements into License Maestro
• Interact with Product Development department to maintain and update SKUs in License Maestro
• Assist with A/P processing in SAP and Invoiceworks
• Assist with audit requests
• Special projects as called upon by management

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree (In Finance/Accounting or related field a Plus)
• 3 +years of related experience
• Experience with SAP / Hyperion Financials
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Additional Qualifications
• Self-starter with ability to proactively identify issues and propose resolutions
• Strong attention to detail and results driven work ethic
• Ability to research and apply advanced financial and accounting concepts
• Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload efficiently and meet strict deadlines
• CPA designation or big four CPA firm experience a plus
• Entertainment industry experience
• Knowledge of financial analysis, US GAAP
