We are the Program Management team for CBS Interactive, a division of ViacomCBS, with a growing PMO team that boasts unparalleled insight into transforming Agile Teams at Scale. Our leaders and teams bring passion to iterative delivery and process while keeping our eyes on the goal and motivating one another to do the same!

Role Details:
Our team is seeking a highly motivated Program Director / Release Train Engineer (RTE) that will oversee our PI Planning Events every quarter for several Agile Release Trains to monitor / report on our program increments, and guide your program managers to deliver our complex, matrix, global programs that are on time, on budget and with value. Our ideal candidate will play a vital part in leading our complex projects and programs across 30 scrum teams for Paramount+ (formerly known as CBS All Access). The role knows what it takes to manage large and complex projects, involving multiple partners and a diverse team of collaborators taking a project from inception to delivery to delight our customers!

Your Day To Day:
• Serve as the ''air traffic controller'' guiding projects and objectives to deliver against aggressive timelines
• Manage, both directly and indirectly, our team of program managers/RTEs
• Plan, run and monitor the PI Planning Event on a quarterly basis
• Partner with Agile Team Scrum Masters, Portfolio Mgmt, product owners, and engineering to ensure successful delivery against PI commitments
• Facilitate the bi-weekly inspect & adapt meetings, at program and solution level, reporting progress
• Continually work to improve how we deliver and foster Scaled Agile and Scrum at Scale frameworks
• Moderate travel between Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York offices (when viable)
• Additional other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

What you bring to the team:

You have -
• SAFe RTE certification and experience as a release train engineer in a scaled agile environment of 10 or more teams
• Experienced in Scaled Agile and/or Scrum at Scale concepts and/or have led a scaled agile transformation
• 4+ years of experience as a Release Train Engineer or similar senior agile delivery / program management role
• 7+ years of highly effective program management or scrum-of-scrum experience leading matrix teams towards deliverables and achievements
• Past experience in Traditional waterfall Program Management with deadline driven commitments
• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Scrum Master for a software development team
• People manager experience leading and mentoring program managers, RTEs, project managers, and scrum masters in an agile software development environment
• High proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Project Plans, Gantts, executive status and presentation skills
• Experience in direct-to-consumer entertainment, media products and/or projects within web, mobile application and backend architectures
• A proactive, efficient, and resourceful approach and ability to thrive in a creative, virtual and fast paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills that can guide complex matrix programs and teams internationally
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent

You might also have -
• Certified Scaled Agile Program Consultant certification
• Knowledge of video streaming products on Mobile, Desktop, OTT and Smart TV screens
• Experience in Lean Portfolio Management, using PPM tools such as Jira Portfolio (add-on to Atlassian Jira), Jira Align (formerly Agile Craft) or other portfolio reporting tracking frameworks
• PMP Certification or similar Program/Project Management certification
• Experience with Content Management Systems, Publishing Systems, Digital Media sites
• Basic proficiency and general understanding of standard development software
• Release management experience across Web, Mobile Applications and OTT platforms to customers
