Overview and Responsibilities

Advertising is being reinvented through big data, audience segmentation tools, digital platforms and formats as well as new consumer consumption patterns across linear, digital and mobile. ViacomCBS is forefront of this reinvention of advertising, with a broad variety of products and programs designed to connect with ViacomCBS fans in whatever environments and on whatever platforms are most meaningful to them. The ViacomCBS Advanced Media team is purpose built to support development of innovative solutions serving both internal and external partners with solutions ranging from client facing reporting tech, to in-house identity management solutions to data onboarding technologies and more.

We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to take over our software marketing across several products and grow usage and help drive product functionality in accordance with our goals. The Manager will be responsible for providing our InView, Identity and Data Onboarding teams with the information they require to advance product scale and be the champion for new product innovations. The successful candidate will also be charged with developing engaging marketing programs that will reach the target audience for each product and inspire an increase in product usage and potential sales opportunities.
Overview and Responsibilities
• Develop comprehensive marketing plans and materials for our audience
• Work closely with Data Solutions product dev teams to determine the most desired course of development for each existing and new product
• Own the marketing efforts to generate strong momentum ahead of new product or feature launches
• Build training materials and training programs for clients both internally and externally
• Work with Advanced Media and Data Solutions teams to engage with internal and external clients to help determine developmental choices as well as track feature requests and product enhancement timelines

Basic Qualifications
• 3+ years' product marketing experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field

Additional Qualifications
• Solid ability to write detailed Business and Technical requirements and writing all post release technical implementation documentation
• Proven history of crafting effective marketing programs
• Excellent time management and project prioritization skills
• Large-scale product management experience a plus
• An entrepreneurial approach with a bias for action that is passionate about building businesses within a fast-paced environment, while changing the way partners perceive our brand and our products
• Technical proficiency in the fundamentals and understanding of advertising and agency ecosystem in digital, social and television
• A track record of partnering across a wide array of internal business groups and executive partners
• Experience presenting to and meeting with senior leaders in agencies and with in-house marketers
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including experience building and leading presentations as well as creating product documentation (user guides, FAQs)
• Experience in visual presentation of information and visual communication
• Passion for problem-solving and the ability to find answers to difficult questions – the sort of answers that others might struggle to find
