Overview and Responsibilities

Advertising is being reinvented through big data, audience segmentation tools, digital platforms and formats as well as new consumer consumption patterns. Viacom is forefront of this reinvention of advertising, with a broad range of products and programs crafted to connect with Viacom's fans in whatever environments and on whatever platforms are most meaningful to them.

In this role, you will work with a team of data scientists as well as pricing and inventory and sales to build and implement optimized cross-platform media plans that deliver on client goals.
Overview and Responsibilities
• Use ground breaking optimization platforms to build media plans against advanced audience that deliver on client goals
• Provide detailed data points and analysis of optimized media plans to sales to inform proposal generation
• Assist in inventory management and plan execution
• Monitor and track cross-platform delivery
• Provide day to day operational support

Basic Qualifications
• 1-3 years working in media buying, planning or client services
• An understanding of media math
• Understanding of advertising and agency ecosystem in television and/ or digital
• Ability to analyze data, develop insights and clearly communicate the impact of varying data points
• Proficient in excel

Additional Qualifications
• Passion for problem-solving and the ability to find answers to difficult questions
• Ability to work across multiple teams
• Highly organized with the ability to lead multiple projects at once, prioritize actions, deadlines, and anticipate solutions
• Strong written and oral communication skills
