Late Night Cartoons - Drawn Animator Lead

Late Night Cartoons, Inc is looking to immediately fill a Full Time position as DRAWN ANIMATOR LEAD on an adult half-hour comedy series. The production is fast paced with quick turnarounds. The position will last approximately 3 months with the possibility for extension. This is currently a remote position but a New York based candidate is preferred.

Applicants should have strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and be able to take an animation generalist approach while being able to jump into one or more additional tasks such as rigging, lipsyncing, puppet animating, etc, if the needs arise. Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines and be extremely organized.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure the team adheres to the production schedule and hits all delivery deadlines
• Create arm gestures for character library in Photoshop
• Create a range of facial expressions and lipsync mouth sets off existing base designs
• In between small sections of more complicated actions
• Assist where needed in other related areas.

QUALIFICATIONS:

'- Previous Leadership experience preferred
• Strong understanding of the principles of animation
• Organized and clean animation workflow
• Good sense of time management
• Good grasp on anatomy, especially of the arm and hand
• Animation speed is a plus
• Experience animating in Photoshop Timeline (frames) and a rigged Character Animator puppet a plus
