Paramount+, a direct-to-consumer digital subscription video on-demand and live streaming service from ViacomCBS, combines live sports, breaking news, and a mountain of entertainment. Role Details:

Insights play a central role at ViacomCBS Streaming, and as part of the Data & Insights Group (DIG), our Research team is a crucial part of our success. This is a great opportunity for an experienced researcher to lead a research team and build on their career in the exciting and fast-changing world of streaming.
Our team is collaborative and passionate and aims to drive business decisions on all levels through high quality, accurate, timely, relevant data, analysis, and insights. This position will primarily focus on managing and conducting a wide range of quantitative and qualitative research to support all stakeholders including product development, marketing, editorial content, and executive management. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, have a solid background in quantitative and qualitative research and have experience managing and mentoring others

Your Day-to-Day:
• Lead, develop and mentor a team of researchers
• Act as a thought leader in market research, while advocating for people who use our products
• Provide senior executives, product and marketing teams with market and consumer research to support strategy and product development
• Recommend appropriate research methodologies to answer questions from stakeholders
• Design and execute all phases of quantitative and qualitative research studies including RFP and research plan development, questionnaire writing, survey programming, analysis, and report writing
• Interface with research vendors, maintain those relationships and ensure projects are progressing smoothly
• Generate insights related to business strategy and communicate them in a compelling and creative way through storytelling and data visualization
• Work cross-functionally with product management, business intelligence, and marketing
• Stay abreast of competitive product offerings and user experiences across all platforms

Key Projects:
• ViacomCBS streaming app audience profiling, as well as general market studies using a panel provider or research vendor
• 1-on-1 usability testing of our sites/apps, both in-person and online
• Focus groups for concept testing and editorial content feedback
• Maintain a proprietary panel of Paramount+ subscribers

Qualifications:

What you bring to the team:

You have –
• 7+ years of quantitative market research experience with a proven track record of leveraging analytics to drive significant business impact, preferably in digital subscription services, digital media or a research agency
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team of Market Research & Insights professionals
• Experience with quantitative methodologies, such as max/diff, conjoint, derived importance and Kano analyses
• Highly competent with qualitative research including focus groups, IDIs and UX/UI testing.
• Skilled in preparing effective and meaningful presentations with clear narratives and impactful insights to drive business decisions
• Be a team player with strong interpersonal skills that can collaborate cross-functionally as well as with research team counterparts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
• Have a passion for entertainment, sports and news content
• Knowledge of SPSS including stat testing, merging datasets, weighting and creating variables
• Experience with survey-based platforms, such as Qualtrics
• Exceptional analytical abilities with strong data analysis, MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Completed Bachelor's Degree, master's level education an asset

• Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau
• Experience with Optimizely or other A/B testing tools
