Job Description

Overview and Responsibilities

The Director, Media Analytics will lead campaign performance measurement for the cross-company marketing group, developing insights on areas for improvement and driving optimization of marketing tactics for the company's portfolio-wide priority initiatives.

Responsibilities:
• Utilize cross-platform viewership data (linear, digital, and social) to develop meaningful insights that enable Marketing team to deliver against campaign goals
• Collaborate with Data Decision Science Group and Research to devise and develop customer segmentation frameworks to inform differentiated customer engagement /marketing strategies
• Measure campaign performance, develop insights on areas for improvement and drive optimization of marketing tactics in partnership with marketing team
• Provide ad hoc analyses to help solve critical business issues for Marketing team
• Synthesize results into easy-to-consume presentations to drive business change

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• 8+ years' experience in media or consumer research
• Experience in linear or multiplatform research is preferred, along with related TV and/or digital fields
• Knowledge and understanding of content and familiarity with media and television businesses, including digital platforms
• Knowledge of linear measurement systems (Nielsen National TV Toolbox, Star Media, Lake 5, etc.), digital measurement systems (comScore, etc.), social measurement tools (Nielsen Social, Canvs, etc.)
• Knowledge of syndicated data tools (MRI, YouGov, Kantar)
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

• Enthusiasm and curiosity for solving problems and answering challenging questions, while maintaining superior attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Ability to communicate complex ideas, stories, and data sets graphically and accessibly to a variety of business partners and stakeholders
• Ability to be flexible, adapting to changing priorities and able to work under pressure, juggling multiple projects at once
• Respectful, friendly and approachable with a positive outlook
