What will you be doing?

The Director, Deal Structuring and Planning sits at the centre of the negotiation planning team and is the focal point for commercial planning and scenario modelling. The role provides the 'meta' financial & scenario modelling required for the major distribution negotiations, taking discreet financial models / inputs from different parts of the business (i.e. UK finance, strategy, VCNI streaming, GDG etc.) and aggregating into a master model capable of generating scenarios / running sensitivities.

In this role you will create scenario analysis taking briefs from commercial stakeholders, as-well as leading on creating internal briefing materials and approval materials as well commercial proposal creation and term sheet creation.

What are we looking for?
• Relevant work experience; preferably in content distribution or acquisition, at a programmer, studio or a distributor.
• Deep understanding of the UK media business, including key players, business models, competitive forces, and strategic issues.
• Creative, strategic and analytical thinker and problem solver.
• Advanced experience as a key team member of complex, high-value deal negotiations
• Comfortable structuring, interpreting and coordinating drafting of contracts.
• Demonstrated ability to review, interpret and synthesize complex financial analyses.
• Proven executive level written and oral communication skills, with excellent PowerPoint and excel skills essential
• Exceptional analytical skills
