Coordinator, Contract Management, Kids and Family, Business and Legal Affairs

Overview and Responsibilities:
Our Kids and Family Business and Legal Affairs group is looking for a Coordinator, Contract Management! The Coordinator, Contract Management, Business and Legal Affairs will:
• Report to two or more people, Vice President level or above in Kids and Family Business & Legal Affairs, and must have ability to develop and implement the best administrative practices, policies and processes on production, talent and integrated marketing-related issues with minimal supervision.
• Build, update and maintain a status report which identifies agreements which are in current negotiations.
• Draft basic correspondence and standard template agreements under the supervision of managers including, but not limited to, option pick-up notices and third party sweepstakes indemnification agreements.
• Handle departmental administrative files and fully executed agreements, both physical copies and electronic copies, and ensure that production, talent and related agreements are distributed to rights management department in a timely manner.
• Manage all substantive and administrative matters relating to sweepstakes, including processing bonding requests and state registration submissions, monitoring achievements and satisfying timely compliance with states' winner's list submission deadlines and fulfillment regulatory management via maintenance of sweepstakes lifespan tracking sheet.
• In conjunction with managers, own, update and maintain outside counsel matter number assignments, billing approvals and quarterly budgeting via TeamConnect.
• Develop and implement the best administrative practices, policies and processes with respect to the operation of the Kids and Family Business & Legal Affairs department, including managing department organizational projects, supervision of temporary assistants, delegation of work to other personnel and development of templates, processes and other mechanisms to guide such personnel.
• Process, file and monitor talent agreements of minors with the LA County Court system.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
• At least 1-3 years' experience in the entertainment industry.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and online research resources. Ability to juggle simultaneous responsibilities & ability to work independently a must.
• A broad understanding of contracts and program production is preferred.

Additional Qualifications:
• Strong organizational skills and must be able to prioritize.
• Must have excellent communication, and organizational skills and excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Must have accuracy and attention to detail with ability to simultaneously coordinate a wide variety of projects.
• Ability to prioritize heavy workload and work well under pressure.
