Job Description

Overview and Responsibilities

The Analyst of Global Reporting supports VIACOMCBS Global reporting requirements. Their primary role includes consolidating domestic cable & network AR schedules, and meeting deliverables for executive management. There will be involvement with dashboard creations, using various tools and products. In addition, the role supports reconciliation of various subledger accounts for month end close. This role assists with consolidating multiple schedules submitted by all countries and regions, preparing extensive analysis of variances, changes month to month and comparisons to estimates and budgets. These schedules include reports furnished by the finance groups, International local offices and the Controllers group. The consolidation includes schedules from over 15+ regions crossing ViacomCBS revenue streams such as AD Sales, Affiliate, CP, IPS, & Ancillary. Consolidated AR reporting is a control audited by PWC as well as Sox & Compliance.
• Prepare and submit consolidated Cable & Network schedules, cash, AR, collections
• Analyse and prepare key metrics on Ad Sales, ie.collections
• Partner in preparing dashboards for various internal teams using multiple tools and technology products
• Partner in preparing quarterly schedules for CFO meetings
• Assist with Reconciling Domestic subledger, ledger, aging for all revenue streams (Ad Sales, Affiliate, Ancillary, CP, IPS)
• Run, LVPLAN extracts for Manager to conduct reconciliations
• Conduct various reconciliations related to AR subledger (can include unapplied, unbilled, billed accounts)
• Run JDE aging reports for Russia to include in consolidated UK cluster reporting
• Run Final Domestic Agings for close process
• Prepare on demand reports and variations to assist with reconciliations
• Consolidate multiple reports furnished by all the clusters and HUBS
• Prepare Ad Sales discrepancy reports & trends
• Assist with preparing DSO trending report
• Prepare ad-hoc reports that relate to aged balances, client pay trend
• Work within a team environment to achieve a common goal
• Submit Audit, SOX & Compliance supporting documentation on all tested controls for Global Reporting

Basic Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced)
• Powerpoint experience

Additional Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in finance, business or related degree preferred or related experience
• Prior experience in analysis work or related preferred
• Experience with SAP & Oracle E1 a plus
• Experience in Media Industry a plus
• Strong communication skills - oral, written, interpersonal
• Ability to think outside of the box, quickly and be a self starter
• Flexibility with work schedule
• Team oriented person who can focus on details and follow up
• Ability to operate in a fast paced environment
