Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Advertising Account Executive responsible for developing, maintaining and servicing accounts. This is an outside sales position responsible for generating revenue by prospecting and selling multi-media advertising solutions for KDKA-TV, WPCW-TV, and CBSPittsburgh.com. If you have excellent customer service skills and a motivation for sales, this could be the role for you!

Primary Responsibilities:
• Develop, service and grow revenue from new and existing business accounts; support new business prospecting.
• Follow up on marketing leads (via cold calls), as well as expand business from the station's existing client base.
• Develop creative marketing campaigns, including all multimedia-solutions based on the client's needs.
• Support media research and ratings.
• Update and manage CRM tracker.

Basic Qualifications:
• College degree preferred.
• Previous sales experience a plus.
• Comfort using and working with technology; software knowledge preferred (Nielsen and other programs).
• Strong closing skills and communication skills; ability to work with customers and sell to customer needs.
• Effective oral and written communication abilities and strong people skills.
• Upbeat, detail oriented, self-motivated, reliable and strong teammate.
