Content Distribution Associate

Job Description

Variety is seeking a creative, collaborative, and motivated Content Distribution Associate to join its nimble brand marketing team. This team member will assist the marketing team with initiatives across all platforms including digital, social, and experiential.
• Marketing & Sales Materials:
• Help craft marketing copy for sales decks, case studies, social media, press releases, house ads, native drivers, email marketing, and more.
• Gather links to social posts & coverage to feature in sales decks.
• Email Marketing: Manage the execution of email blasts to market upcoming Variety events as well as promote partner content.
• House Ads: Manage the execution of weekly print house advertising operations, ensuring brand consistency, and coordinated cross-team execution.
• Asset Management: Request creative assets for social, web, print, newsletters from the design team providing clear direction and feedback to ensure timely completion.
• Materials Library: Manage Variety's deck links and media plans tracker, ensuring ease and convenience for sales team.
• Website Maintenance: Maintain the Variety Events Website & registration pages for Variety Thought-Leadership Summits.
• Social Execution: Assist in promotion execution for Variety events and initiatives including social media posting.
• Brainstorming: Participate in team brainstorming meetings to develop new partnership initiatives and opportunities.
Requirements:
• Highly organized
• Passion for the entertainment industry
• Proficient in Word, PPT, Excel, Canva
• Must be able to work in person 4 days a week
As Variety values in-person collaboration and team cohesion, employees work onsite 4 days a week and 1 day remotely with a focus on maintaining a vibrant and inclusive culture.
A good faith estimate of the salary range is $25/hr. upon hire.
