Job Description
The Corporate and Premium Partnerships Operations Coordinator will play a vital role in managing sales
and partnership marketing operations for the Business Development team of the Utah Jazz & Smith
Entertainment Group. This position will play a key role in facilitating and executing new business
operational initiatives that fulfill the department business plan and support organizational objectives.
The Coordinator will play a strategic operational role in establishing new corporate and premium
partnerships including lead generation, partner research and analytics, ideation of innovative
partnership marketing strategies, asset development, pitch development, and delivery.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with department leadership to facilitate strategic operational initiatives that foster the highest levels of collaboration and communication between the Business Development and Marketing Departments throughout the partnership sales process
• Research industries and identify key players therein for corporate partners and premium seating
opportunities
• Support the client discovery and analysis process with Account Executives by taking detailed
notes and assisting in prospective client research efforts
• Utilizing client research, analytics and information obtained during the discovery process,
prepare and present partnership summary briefs that will play a critical role in the ideation and
development of new partnership marketing campaign strategies
• Organize and schedule internal solution, ideation and pitch production meetings with key
departmental leaders and Account Executives
• Create and submit creative briefs to Marketing Operations Department to help create an
experiential pitch through decks and experiential mockups
• Collaborate with the Marketing Operations Department to track, progress and report back to the
Business Development team on the progress of pitch decks and other resources needed to
present to prospective partners
• Collaborate with the business intelligence team and Account Executives to identify and
incorporate partner and industry analytics into the solutions development and pitch process
• Assist the Director of Operations in staging creative, meaningful and highly impactful pitch
environments and events to present finished proposals to prospective clients
• Assist in building and maintaining an ongoing document of asset examples and new asset ideas
from professional sports leagues throughout the world
• Play an active role in helping to create new, innovative, and creative partnership marketing ideas
that meet client and organization objections by consistently researching and presenting new
ideas
• Develop new and innovative lead gen strategies and assist in researching and building local,
regional, and national lead lists for corporate partners and premium seating buyers
• Support the Director of Operations in all other tasks and needs

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent training and experience
• Preferred 1-3 years of experience in sales or marketing
• Preferred proficiency in brand marketing and integrated partnerships
• Ability to work a non-traditional schedule as sports and entertainment events may require,
including extended days and hours, holidays, and weekends
• Proficient in customer relationship management systems, Microsoft Office applications and
Google workspace
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally.
• This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate and assess.
• This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time.
• This person must be able to lift 20 lbs.
