Senior Royalty Accountant

Job Description

To prepare accurate royalty accounting for all parties contracted to the EMI labels, and to provide info to Management and the labels on the same.

Skills & Experience

Be financial
• All levels of Royalty Accounting for the EMI labels
• Monthly processing of EMI releases
• Monthly fee income bookings for EMI labels
• Publishing Royalty Accounts to the Global Royalty Portal
• Year-end information provision and analysis as required by Management and/or EMI Finance
• Arranging new Bank details for artists and third parties with New Supplier
• Investigation and resolution of ad hoc queries on the EMI labels as within job holder's capabilities

Person Specification
• Excellent levels of numeracy and accuracy in figurework
• Ability to analyse and interpret legal documents
• Can deliver under pressure and can set / meet own goals
• High level of competency on mainframe and Microsoft packages
• Must be able to complete all tasks within agreed deadline and apply themselves to this end
• Extensive Royalties experience is essential
