Job Description
The Director of Business Intelligence & Analytics, Commercial Partnerships supports the Commercial Partnerships department in the areas of business intelligence. Responsible for developing communication, collection, organization, and analysis of pertinent data to positively impact revenue, marketing and business decisions with our commercial partners.

How you'll CREATE:
• Using and developing internal and external business intelligence, analytics & consumer insights to inform effective reports, data visualization, marketing & commercial decisions.
• Revenue/Marketing-focused responsibilities:
• Strategizing with label and partners on specific marketing events and programs
• Social Media and Streaming Marketing: Identify opportunities and guide execution of social media outreach and playlisting strategy with partner and content providers.
• Analysis:
• Weekly comprehensive recap of Industry and UMG sales and streaming results
• Streaming and Promotional event analysis
• Manage analysis requests with account teams, labels and internal analysis teams

• Strong analytical skills coupled with ability to communicate strategy, drive artist growth and maximize revenue through commercial partners and platforms
• Advanced knowledge and application of Python programming, SQL, Tableau, DOMO, or other data manipulation / visualization platforms. MS Office, Microsoft Excel (including VBA) and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with emphasis on relationship building with commercial partners and internal UMG stakeholders
• Ability to communicate the meanings of data analysis and their relationship to current business strategies
• Meticulous attention to detail and follow through
• Extremely organized with superior time management skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects and produce high-quality results under tight deadlines in a team environment
• Inherent analytical and quantitative skills with experience in social media and search engine marketing
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of commercial products and product consumption
• Strong interest in music and pop culture, with extensive knowledge of current and catalog music titles and artists across all music distribution companies
• Experience with analytics, search engine and social media marketing, relational database reporting tools, SQL & Google Big Query, programming Python and understanding of API's and Partner API's.
• Knowledge of AWS, GitHub and hosting platforms
• Knowledge of social media and current platforms of entertainment consumption
• Working knowledge and understanding of UMG internal systems a plus. Ability to quickly learn new systems a must
• BA degree - (Music Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics studies preferred)

Salary Range:
$90,000- $179,960

The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
