Job Description
Universal Production Music (UPM) is seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator (DMC), based in Santa Monica, CA, to support the UPM marketing team in driving key digital initiatives across various brand channels.

The DMC will partner and support projects with the music production, licensing and partnerships, and the music directors,; and will be responsible for publishing content on all company social media platforms. Additionally, the DMC will work closely with a Sr. Designer and share content creation responsibilities as needed. The DMC will be responsible for building brand awareness and growing UPM'S audience in an effort to boost licensing and lead generation.

The ideal candidate is creative, self-motivated, and adept at managing multiple priorities and projects. They should understand the targeted audience (editors, music supervisors, brands, agencies, and other verticals) creating a persuasive digital content strategy and targeted messaging that strikes a chord with the intended audience.

Essential Functions:
• CDrives digital marketing and social media campaign strategies, including content ideation, social calendar maintenance, schedules and manages against department KPI's
• Masters the LinkedIn platform for lead generation using highly targeted content and strategies
• Ensures brand consistency in marketing and social media messages by working with various company department members maintaining the integrity of the company's brand guidelines and mission
• Collects client and lead data and analyzes their behavior and engagement to create comprehensive reports and improve future marketing strategies and campaigns
• Uses a social media management platform (e.g. Sprout Social (or similar) for monitoring social listening , monthly reporting, lead generation, creating and scheduling content for all UPM accounts
• Scrubs through key social media platforms daily to spot opportunities to engage with clients and leads, artists, and music-related brands
• Analyzes recent music licensing reports to choose marketing- friendly client syncs to promote across our social channels, website, and marketing emails
• Creates content for organic social as needed and also, repurposes existing content to include in e-mail blasts, online advertising, and licensing and partnerships collateral.
• Assists Sr. Designer in creation and production of:
• Client proposals
• One sheets
• Presentation Deck layouts
• Social media graphic assets
• Video content assets
• Website content
• Uploads images and content to the internal website management system and works with Sr. Manager on publishing of content and page updates
• Proactively looks for content capture opportunities with the Production team (tags along for recording sessions, special projects, etc.) to be then posted on company socials and website
• Researches and monitors activity of UPM competitors on a quarterly basis, as well as clients and/or leads as requested by management team
• Organizes and owns UPM's collection of digital assets on server and cloud storage
• Other requests by management as needed

Qualifications:
• 2+ years' experience in digital marketing and developing Social Media strategies that serve a 360 purpose
• Expert knowledge (and continued learning) of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, CRM (MS Dynamics and, Salesforce are a plus).
• Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint) as well as project management tools (Monday.com)
• Experience in maintaining corporate and/or entertainment websites using content management software and familiarity with web design and publishing (Sitecore, WordPress a plus).
• Connected to pop culture trends and new viral phenomena; quick thinking and adaptability are plus to be able to react to viral trends in a timely manner
• Understanding and ability to report on social media KPI's, SEO and web traffic metrics
• Great time management is a must; individual must take ownership of their schedule and use time and their team wisely to accomplish tasks
• Self-starter and resourceful; requires minimal handholding from management once they've acclimated to the brand culture and guidelines/voice
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be comfortable presenting concepts in larger meetings and have an outgoing personality
• Proactive attitude and ability to anticipate needs based on past asks and campaigns
• Critical thinkinger and problem-solving skills, with ability to multitask
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or related field preferred but not required
