Job Description
The Coordinator, Licensing & Contracts at Universal Music Enterprises (UMe), a division of Universal Music Group (UMG) will serve as an integral member of the Film & TV Music Contract Administration team. The ideal candidate will possess some knowledge of contract language and structure, accounts receivables and royalty administration. This position works very closely with our Roylaty and Finance departments

How you'll CREATE:
• Provide support for the UMe Contract Administration team
• Manage collection of payments and be responsible for accounts receivables
• Manage daily research of electronic payments (ACH/wire) and checks (online lockbox) and enter payment information into the Film & TV database and our internal payment collection spreadsheet
• Manage daily follow up on all outstanding payments and keep a record of all communications
• Develop relationships with client's accounts payable and financial departments
• Assist with weekly deposits
• Process royalty statements/payments
• Manage vendor set-up on client's payment portals
• Issue invoices and review/sign purchase orders
• Enter relevant information/notes into the Film & TV database as needed
• Work with our Royalty/Finance departments to assist with reconciling unclaimed payments
• Liase with our Tax department to assist client's with tax documents
• Manage payment refunds to clients
• Communicate effectively with clients and answer client queries regarding invoices and licenses
• Oversees payment collection efforts with our temps and interns

• Works well under pressure in a fast paced, high volume, work environment and consistently meets deadlines
• At least one year of prior Film & TV licensing and/or finance/royalty department experience required
• College degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Communications or Legal preferred
