The Da Nang studio is seeking a Finance & Operations Director to join its leadership team and play a key role in both Vietnam and the Region (South East Asia & India).
Reporting to the Vietnam Studio Manager, you will be responsible for optimizing studio operations across its different activities and functions, ensuring alignment with Zone processes and strategic direction.
You will lead the Finance & Accounting, Procurement, Workplace, and IT functions, while also overseeing transversal topics such as legal, administrative, governmental, and environmental matters.
You will be a key partner to the Studio Manager, shaping the studio's strategic direction and contributing to the broader success of the Zone.
Collaboration will be central to your role-you will also work closely with Operations leaders across the Zone, Studio Production Management, and HR teams to drive synergies and support the studio's growth.
Responsibilities
Strategic & Financial Leadership
• Define, monitor, and drive the studio's financial strategy, ensuring alignment with both local needs and Ubisoft's global objectives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and financial sustainability.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high operational standards to support the studio's growth.
• Provide financial and operational recommendations to enhance decision-making at both the studio and Zone levels.
Operational Oversight & Compliance
• Ensure accounting, tax, and financial reporting are managed efficiently and in full compliance with local regulations and Ubisoft's global policies.
• Oversee tax refund applications and tax incentives, ensuring effective tax optimization strategies.
• Lead procurement and supplier management, focusing on efficiency, cost savings, and compliance with Ubisoft's code of conduct.
• Oversee workplace operations, ensuring a clean, functional, and well-maintained office environment that reflects Ubisoft's culture and standards.
• Manage and validate all legal, contractual, administrative, and regulatory matters to ensure Ubisoft's compliance in Vietnam.
• Represent the studio in dealings with government bodies, financial institutions, and external partners, fostering strong relationships and ensuring smooth regulatory interactions.
Enhance Studio Efficiency & Alignment with the Zone
• Lead the Finance & Accounting, Procurement, Workplace, and IT teams to ensure operational excellence.
• Partner with the Vietnam Studio Manager and collaborate with Zone Operations Leaders to drive efficiency, improve reporting, and optimize support functions.
• Drive continuous process improvements and implement best practices to enhance compliance and operational effectiveness across departments.
• Ensure internal and external communications are aligned with the studio and Ubisoft's strategic direction.
• Represent the Vietnam studio in Zone-wide discussions and contribute to the implementation of new ERP initiatives.
• Propose and oversee the implementation of Group and Zone tools and processes to optimize the studio's efficiency, governance, and compliance.
• Act as a strategic business partner to the Studio Manager, contributing to the long-term success and sustainability of the Vietnam studio.

• Demonstrated ability to leverage technology to streamline processes, enhance reporting, and drive innovation in workplace management, financial strategy, procurement, and environmental functions.
