The Job

Sr. Manager focusing on the reporting and analysis of WarnerMedia (primarily Consolidated WarnerMedia Legacy Turner and legacy HBO) to ensure consolidated results are in compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations. Consolidated Financial Reporting is responsible for the preparation of consolidated financial statements and related footnote disclosures for inclusion in the AT&T quarterly and annual SEC filings. Acts as liaison between our parent company, AT&T, and Global Business Services to ensure adequate explanation of submitted results, communicate reporting requirement revisions to internal partners and to obtain alignment on process efficiencies.

The Daily
• Monthly Balance sheet review, including resolution follow-up for previously identified issues
• Preparation / presentation of monthly deliverables including balance sheet analysis and other management reports
• Preparation and review of quarterly executive balance sheet reviews, presentation and analysis for legacy Turner, legacy HBO and WarnerMedia consolidated
• Collaborate with internal/external customers, business partners and peers to drive efficiencies in processes and effectively meet deliverables
• Review of footnote disclosures prior to submission to AT&T
• Serves as Operating Lease reporting expert
• Address management inquiries/requests for data and analysis spanning multiple finance / accounting areas
• Participate in other key projects and initiatives impacting balance sheet reporting
• Resolve balance sheet data issues that affect the transmission of financial statements to AT&T, including researching and reconciliation of data in legacy GL and/or AT&T systems
• Work in multiple systems to report results
• Review requests for new legal entities, restructure of existing entities and closure of legal entities
• Provide reporting guidance/support for legal entity transactions and other balance sheet reporting
• Participate in other key projects and initiatives impacting balance sheet reporting
• Assist in providing ad hoc reporting / analysis and with various other projects, including cross-divisional initiatives, as required
• Provide assistance/support to other areas within the financial reporting group as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Ten or more years of experience in accounting and/or finance
• Variance analysis and reporting experience
• CPA preferred
• Proficient with Excel and ERP systems required, including use of macros and v-lookups
