The Job

WarnerMedia seeks a Sr Analyst, Contract Renewals for the Tech Business Operations department.

This senior position provides a critical function to ensure the supportability of the company's hardware and software platforms and the continued contract and financial well-being of the company's assets. This includes ownership for the cross-divisional IT hardware and software maintenance support renewal and overall contract program internationally. This position also is responsible for managing expirations associated to the department's 3rd party contractor requirements.

The Daily

Hardware and Software Maintenance Contract Renewals: 70%
• Leads the process to ensure timely contract renewals for IT support programs and professional services contracts across multiple departments globally
• Coordinates validation with technical and business owners. Provides assistance and guidance on renewal options.
• Directs and validates for accurate financial allocation of expenses
• Evaluates new purchases for approval of new support contracts and merges into contract database
• Works with suppliers to coordinate price quotes. Negotiates vendors using pricing benchmarks to ensure appropriate price points.
• Identifies and pursues opportunities for lower cost alternatives
• Coordinates activities required for timely delivery of purchase orders
• Provides cost analysis
• Partners with vendor management for contract review requirements

3rd Party Contract Coordination: 10%
• Actively manages 3rd Party Contractors and Professional Services expiration dates
• Coordinates validation with technical and business owners. Provides assistance and guidance on renewal options.
• Partners with vendor management for contract review requirements

Data Analysis: 10%
• Provide other detailed data analysis as required
Other: 10%
• Assist others in the group as required. Meet project deadlines and schedules

The Essentials
• 5+ years' experience vendor management
• 5+ years' experience with IT contracts
• 5+ years' experience with IT
• 5+ years' experience in technology procurement
• Bachelor's degree in financial, technical or business discipline and/or equivalent work experience.

Desirable Requirements
• Experience with financial analysis
• Customer management experience
• Solid oral, written, presentation, interpersonal and meeting coordination skills.
