Graphic Designer (Temporary)

Your New Role...

The Graphic Design Temp role is an entry level, temporary position within Turner Sports social design team. Individuals are immersed into the world of sports design receiving hands-on experience working with leading brands such as NBA on TNT and NBA TV. This position is designed for recent college graduates who have a passion for graphic design, sports, social, and a driving desire to succeed. You will be working directly with a team of content creators, editors, producers and other designers. This is a 40 hour a week commitment.

Your Job Responsibilities...
• Design engaging on-brand social graphics for NBA on TNT and NBA TV social accounts as well as other brand extensions.
• Create specialty content around NBA special events such as Opening Night, All-Star Weekend, Playoffs, Summer League and more.
• Design real-time graphics highlighting outstanding game performances during NBA on TNT broadcasts along with supporting content surrounding the NBA on TNT talent.
• Participate in all aspects of design phase from sketches, through final executions.
• Provide feedback and critique on their peers projects During the basketball season the work schedule is aligned to the NBA schedule.
• This position requires a mix of day and night shifts in conjunction with NBA on TNT/NBA TV broadcasts.
• Shifts are assigned on a monthly basis.
• During March Madness the work schedule is aligned to what is needed around the tournament.
• A mix of day/night and weekend shifts will be required.

Qualifications & Experiences....
• Portfolio showcase casing design skills and POV Apply creativity and design within existing style guides and process.
• Demonstrate taste and understanding in layout, typography and visual hierarchy Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere.
• In depth knowledge of social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
• Able to meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment Strong communication and listening skills, open to feedback and a positive attitude.
• Interest in sports preferred, but not required.
