The Job

Reporting directly to the VP Original Productions EMEA, the Senior Producer will play a vital role in the creation of original fictional content for Turner channels in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Producer to work with one of the most influential global media brands and use their creative flair to create incredible content which tells compelling, exciting stories.

The Daily
• Work with the VP Original Productions and Head of Programming to develop and evaluate suitable GE fictional concepts and shows appropriate to each channel's programming strategy and tailored for relevant and defined target groups.
• Give full editorial feedback and input for concepts and scripts, be part of choosing talent/cast, and feedback changes and comments to production companies.
• Take responsibility for communication both inhouse and with external production partners.
• With the help of the research department, screen the international and national market for new formats and successful shows and trends.
• Support VP Original Productions EMEA on projects.
• Support Marketing, PR and Sales teams in all activities related to Original Productions.

The Essentials
• Proven experience in a Producer role with a track record of success in local Original Productions and concepts.
• Excellent understanding of the entertainment content industry, especially regarding fictional series.
• Professional communicator who uses appropriate protocols; excellent team player.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Fluent English and German speaker.

The Nice to Haves
• Degree level qualification, preferably in a media-related discipline (e.g. Communication or Media Studies, Film Studies)
