The Job

WarnerMedia is seeking an experienced Program Manager with an interest in technology and broadcast media to support several content distribution initiatives as part of WarnerMedia's Media Supply Chain.

The Media Supply Chain (MSC) Team is responsible for aggregating content and metadata from various sources and efficiently delivering that content to numerous consumer platforms.

The Daily
• Process Management: enhance and maintain MSC PMO processes for program initiation, workstream continuity, transparency of coordination, interdependencies and documentation
• Project initiation: secure team buy-in and alignment, set up documentation, gather and assign proper resources
• Communication: monitor, process and share progress of multi-workstream programs through quick, accurate and clear writing
• Program (Project) Planning: architect roadmaps that meet objectives, within constraints, while staying ten steps ahead
• Scheduling: build and own a single version of truth that includes defining who is doing what, when, and sequence rationale
• Documentation: ensure all program artifacts are complete, accurate and easily accessible via Atlassian tools
• Task Management: boost program team productivity, reduce errors, and keep everyone current catering to different types of staff with differing learning preferences
• Risk Management: expediently identify, evaluate, and document mitigation plan(s) across and/or within programs of work
• Champion: encourage best practices by providing constructive feedback and coaching to those outside the PMO

The Essentials
• Bachelor's Degree or commensurate work experience
• Minimum of 10 years of combined experience as a Project Manager and/or Program Manager leading successful complex large scale technical initiatives
• Experience creating executive summaries
• Experience negotiating milestones
• Proficient at influencing technical and non-technical audiences
• Proven escalation management skills
• Proficient with Project Management tools: Smartsheet, Atlassian Confluence & Jira, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint
• Ability to elicit and document business requirements through use cases, user stories, and other means (e.g. diagrams)

Preferred Skills
• PMP certification
• Media or entertainment industry experience
• Leadership/people management experience
