The Job

The Print Designer leads high-profile projects, working a concept through its paces via strategic perspective and inspirational design. We're looking for a proactive creative leader; someone well-versed in print production tools and mechanical deliveries, but is also familiar with the primary motion design production tools. If you like to design for print and motion, this may be your gig.

The Daily
• Create compelling, multi-platform content for initiatives ranging from promotion to marketing to programming, across WarnerMedia's diverse portfolio
• Elevate content via layout, typography and color correction skills
• Show originality by providing unique solutions to solve problems with stylistic variety
• Articulate concept visually with multiple options and personal perspective
• Work independently to achieve objectives and design components of projects
• Take an active role in interpreting the creative brief
• Demonstrate risk taking and innovation; push skills by always looking for creative opportunities
• Participate in brainstorm sessions and support creative teams as needed
• Work effectively with Creative Directors, Art Directors, and Producers
• Manage personal and project time frames and complete assigned tasks on schedule

The Essentials
• Expert Adobe Suite skills
• Expert print production skills
• Portfolio of current work
• BA or BS in a related field preferred, with at least five years relevant experience in fast-paced television post-production or print-production environment
• Strong command of composition, color theory, and design thinking
• Proficient graphic design skills including logo, typography, and graphic communication
• Ability to develop and articulate a design concept and demonstrate creative thinking with a clear design process
• Understanding of motion design vocabulary from concept development to execution and delivery
• Understanding of print vocabulary from concept development to press execution
• Understanding of all print file formats and quality control
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Positive attitude with a passion and drive for excellence
• Ability to work well in a collaborative, high performing team environment
• Awareness of the entertainment and sports broadcast industry
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed
• Ability to troubleshoot technical or creative issues in a timely fashion
