The Daily
• Select, prioritize, edit and post content (news stories, analysis, videos, photos) to the NBA's official web site, NBA.com, and its official mobile site, NBA Mobile, as well as to the NBA app.
• Write headlines and blurbs and be able to do so in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor wire feeds and files from the field, as well as files from outside sources to ensure the latest NBA news is represented on all NBA Digital properties.
• Work directly with multimedia producers to prioritize video highlights and other video content for all NBA Digital properties.
• Coordinate and monitor live video streaming from various NBA events.
The Essentials
• 3 years of editorial experience, preferably in online media.
• Working knowledge of web publishing technologies, including HTML and photoshop.
• Deep knowledge and understanding of NBA basketball.
• Ability to work in team environment and able to work nights and weekends.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive under deadline pressure.
• Bachelor's degree (journalism or related field is preferred)
