VFX Generalist

Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a versatile and skilled VFX Generalists to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality visual effects for film, television, and video game productions. You will work across multiple areas of VFX production, including 3D modeling, animation, technical animation, and performance capture.

Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality 3D models based on concept art and project requirements.

• Rig and animate characters and objects for use in film, television, and video games.

• Create and apply complex shaders and textures to surfaces.

• Participate in motion capture sessions as a technician and/or performer.

• Collaborate with the production team to ensure that VFX meet project specifications and deadlines.

• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues related to VFX production.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest VFX techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in VFX production for film, television, or video games.

• Expertise in one or more 3D software such as Maya, Houdini, ZBrush, Motion Builder, or Unreal.

• Strong understanding of topology, UV mapping, and texturing.

• Knowledge of rigging and animation principles.

• Familiarity with motion capture technology and techniques.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work well with other members of the production team.

• Passion for art, design, and technology.

* Must have reliable transportation to the office in Bossier City every work day.
