GENERAL SUMMARY

We are currently looking for a Director of Influencer Marketing to be the lead in building out our influencer marketing offerings to our clients. We are looking for someone who has a strong understanding of the evolving and fast paced influencer landscape, with experience of working with brands and entertainment companies to leverage talent to support their overall marketing objectives. You will be leading the influencer strategy, campaign oversight and talent development for the agency, and will have connections with talent, clients, agents and managers. The ideal candidate will also have strong leadership skills and be able to build strong relationships with top digital influencers and talent. You will also have a passion for creators and influencers, and understand how to package them into commercial projects that drive social, PR, experiential and content initiatives for clients across verticals like film, television, culture, gaming and brands.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Experience with direct client relations, which includes leading strategy, brainstorms, critical thinking, and problem solving
• Proven leadership and management skills
• Senior experience within an Influencer, Advertising, PR agency or in-house position
• Oversee influencer campaigns to ensure timely execution of campaigns, talent deliverables, client communication and coordination of logistics based on talent contracts
• Proven track record in maintaining and expanding client business
• Develop programs for influencers and creators across all internal verticals, from content co-creation to offline events, that support brand initiatives, objectives and KPIs
• Strategically identify talent and influencers for brand campaigns and programs that maximize ROI and achieve campaign KPIs
• Manage existing and develop new relationships within the digital influencer community (MCN's, Talent Agencies, Content Creators, Media Platforms, etc.)
• Work cross-functionally and collaboratively within the agency's divisions
• Facilitate the negotiation and execution of campaigns for partnered content creators
• Lead the negotiation and contracting of influencers
• Communicate and evangelize creator network capabilities to internal and external partners at all levels
• Provide best-in-class influencer counsel specific to brand target consumer and marketing
• Lead the agency in maintaining an effective understanding of the ever-changing influencer landscape, tools, 3rd party vendors and trends
• Experience with Influencer management software and tools; and a deep understanding of how to utilize data and analytics for campaigns.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in celebrity/influencer marketing - particularly working with clients and developing business within a digital, public relations, or advertising/integrated marketing agency
• Experience in leading and executing local-to-global influencer campaigns
• Acutely aware of cultural and social platform nuances, payment and procurement policies, and management logistics
• Experience in talent social analytics related to selection and evaluation
• Strong negotiation skills
• Strong writing skills and the ability to create social playbooks for clients and influencers
• Experience in managing talent/content in the digital space and interacting with brands, agencies and influencers
• Strong relationships with top influencers, talent representation, and digital/social networks
• Relevant experience across key social media properties including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, blogs, etc.
• Experience in digital media, talent/artist relations, public relations and/or marketing
• Experience with and knowledge of short-form video platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Musical.ly, and Snapchat
• Familiarity with back-end publishing and platform and analytics tools (i.e. FB insights, YouTube Analytics)
• Demonstrated ability to juggle scope and resources to meet deadlines consistently
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to build out and grow a new division
