We provide big strategies, pitch-perfect presentations, or simply the one idea that makes everything click.

POSITION SUMMARY:

A pivotal, new role for MXW in their next growth and development phase working closely with the leaders of the business and in partnership with the client services and design teams.

The Client Services Director will run and manage the day to day operations of the UK business, with the ability to manage clients and projects with added skills around campaign strategy, marketing, and design,. You will also be responsible for the performance of key client's health, growth and retention.

This role is based in London, and we are looking for someone who is eligible to work in the UK.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Client Management (50%)
• Champion strategic thinking and creative excellence across the full suite of MXW services to existing and new clients (both domestic and international), starting with client briefs through to translating them into project requirements
• Lead campaigns across wide touchpoints eg branding, design, experiential and strategy.
• Lead teams to deliver high quality work to agreed deadlines and budgets – as well as manage/be point person on key projects for the business
• Review and sign-off on designated production work (from copy to print-ready artwork)
• Lead, manage and coach a global team of Creative Directors, Art Directors, Senior Designers, and other creatives across multiple locations
• Monitor results of team efforts and propose actions for future development

Studio Operations (30%)
• Implement best practice, tools and processes to ensure optimal workflows are in place to allow time to think and craft first class work
• Set the day-to-day agenda for the design team
• Quarterly capacity planning and staff holiday
• Freelance resourcing and rate management
• Drive logistics, timeline, process and all materials
• Resource planning (strategy, copy, design, specialist areas, collaboration with other group businesses)
• Manage client materials ensuring design team have access to the most up to date assets
• Manage creative assets including style & branding guides, concept art, key art, title treatments and unit photography
• Ensure asset downloading, documenting, filing process & systems, circulation to relevant parties, tracking and security protocols are adhered to

New Business (10%)
• Sell the agency's capabilities to meet the needs of clients and their business
• Lead new business pitches and be accountable for quality & accuracy
• Presentation of ideas to key senior clients and stakeholders
• Evolve and update master capabilities deck, staff biographies and write award entries

Finance (10%)
• Draft SOW's and fee structures
• Manage change orders and scope creep
• Manage purchase order and sales invoice requests
• Provide direct expense paperwork to DEXT
• Contribute to annual business plan and quarterly forecasting
Other
• Support on ad hoc requests as required by the leadership team
• Play an active role across the agency to contribute to the company's culture
• Any other duties which the Company shall reasonably require from time to time.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
• 10-years+ of agency experience in a senior role, with proven international entertainment marketing experience working with leading Hollywood studios
• Experience of working across a broad range of campaigns, including branding, design, experiential and strategy.
• A creative and strategic thinker, passionate about creating first class design solutions
• A collaborator who can establish connections across a broad range of team members (strategists, designers and producers), partners and stakeholders
• A storyteller with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence
• Stays up to date with emerging technologies & trends (experiential, design, film, fashion, music and social), and demonstrates understanding of how they integrate into key client communication ideas
• Has an interest in cultural and zeitgeist events that can influence ideas and tactics
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides and Outlook (preferably monday.com and Teams too)
