Accounting Manager

Job Description

Titmouse is looking for an Accounting Manager to add to our team in Burbank, CA. If you have at least five years experience in a corporate accounting role, you might be the candidate we're looking for! We have a collaborative accounting group and we are looking for someone who wants to be the missing piece as we expand our team.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND REQUIRED ABILITIES
• Accounting or Finance degree.
• Understanding of full-cycle accounting and GAAP.
• Experience using NetSuite and QuickBooks Desktop.
• Experience in animation, film, or television industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact in a positive way with office personnel, vendors, and management at all levels.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with a ''can do'' attitude.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Maintain confidentiality over all matters and proprietary information.
• Ability to prioritize work to meet goals or deadlines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare monthly financial statements for three corporate entities.
• Ensure production activity is properly reflected in the financials.
• Ensure all billbacks have been captured in the financials.
• Reconcile account balances.
• Supervise selected Accounting Department staff.
• Other duties as required.

$105,000 - $120,000 a year

Salary will be commensurate with experience within the range stated.

Location: We are currently on a hybrid working schedule. This position is required to work onsite at our Burbank studio on the same designated days as the rest of the team, currently Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Work Type: Full-time, salaried (exempt)

Reporting to: VP of Finance
