Strategic Finance Manager

THE JOB

The Strategic Finance Manager role will serve as a key business partner for various business lines at Ticketmaster. You will help define and drive business strategy by providing critical financial insights to business leaders as well as supporting them in daily operations through budget management and forecasting.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Key partner to business leaders in day-to-day management of their budgets
• Prepare and deliver monthly P&L and KPI performance packages, including analysis of results
• Partner with VP Strategic Finance on Revenue, CM, CapEx, & OpEx forecast guidance to be provided to finance leaders
• Partner with VP Strategic Finance on periodic financial performance updates and drive strategic shifts based on results and budget performance
• Create and maintain various financial planning and forecasting models
• Prepare detailed annual budgets for all supported business lines
• Partner with the business on financial modeling and scenario planning, including assessment of new opportunities and existing investments
• Partner with HR to track headcount budgets and corresponding labor spend, including internal and external labor strategy
• Track and report on product and program level spend, including tracking and managing capex and opex labor budgets and alignment to strategic goals/priorities
• Improve and scale by developing repeatable processes, including standardizing and automating reports and improving how we leverage internal systems
• Ad-hoc reports and analysis as needed

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)
• 5+ years of relevant experience (FP&A, investment banking, private equity, strategy, consulting, Big 4)
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Experience building forecast and scenario models
• Strong proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle, OneStream, BPC, Workday)
• Experience with BI tools (Domo experience a plus)
