THE TEAM

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the Fan Based Marketing team. The team is responsible for piloting new marketing technology as well as developing solutions for sponsorship and corporate initiatives. The goal is to improve our fan's pre- and post-journey experiences by sending the right message at the right time through the right channel.

We are seeking candidates who enjoy designing complex technology, tracking down issues, and have the desire to solve fun technical problems. The ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines is a must. Teamwork, solid written and oral communication skills, and the ability to think on your feet are expected. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Understand business goals and drivers and translate those into an appropriate technical solution
• Build, maintain, and monitor custom solutions in AWS that integrate with our vendors' and third-party applications
• Support data transfer and data loading work for ad hoc initiatives
• Monitor the data ingestion jobs for our Customer Data Platform (CDP)
• Write, test, and maintain the data transformation jobs within our CDP for our use
• Develop and enhance our libraries and tools within third-party platforms
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternative approaches to existing solutions ​

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
• 2+ years of experience developing using Java and/or Python to build applications and scripts required
• Experience developing highly available, reliable, and durable distributed systems
• Solid understanding of relational databases
• Experience writing complex SQL queries required
• Knowledge of AWS Services (Lambda, EC2, Elasticbeanstalk, API Gateway, RDS, ECS and S3)
• Effective visual and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Lytics Customer Data Platform preferred
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform8 preferred
• Experience with Databricks preferred
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred
• Experience with Email HTML and CSS preferred
