Ticketmaster Music is passionate team within Ticketmaster dedicated to supporting our clients (concert promoters, agents and artist managers) by building tools that empower artists to more efficiently manage their touring business while understanding and engaging more deeply with their fans. It's hard work. We love it, and we have a rare opening for an exceptionally talented Senior Marketing & Communications Manager to join our team.

THE JOB

The Senior Marketing & Communications Manager plays a critical role in the planning, management and execution of B2B and B2C marketing and communications campaigns supporting Ticketmaster Music's suite of artist-focused products and services. Serving as the marketing team's subject matter expert within the B2B and Product Marketing functions, the Senior Manager drives day-to-day oversight of go-to-market strategies, client and industry communications, product positioning and materials, and events marketing.

This position works closely with teams across Ticketmaster Music (including Client Relations, Pricing, and Operations) and actively collaborates with marketing and product stakeholders throughout Ticketmaster and Live Nation Entertainment. The ideal candidate is passionate about live music, an experienced marketer, and an excellent communicator. They excel at playing a variety of roles depending on the situation and successfully balances strategic and operational roles in an ever-changing environment.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Support the adoption and success of artist-focused Ticketmaster programs, tools, and services designed to help artists meet their touring goals.
• Serve as the internal ''expert'' on your clients: understand their business challenges/opportunities, how Ticketmaster's current offerings benefit them, advocate for new offerings that could benefit them in the future.
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that bring B2B products and services to market, support product adoption and enablement, market differentiation and new business growth.
• Lead research, obtain impactful data insights, produce materials to support adoption of products/services.
• Quarterback B2B communications: developing voice to clients and industry, activating communications plan to maintain awareness and benefits of our products/services, reinforce position as industry thought leaders.
• Act as day-to-day conduit between our marketing team and internal product, education, marketing, PR, and events teams to partner on initiatives, obtain necessary resources, execute rollouts and launch planning.
• Develop marketing plans to activate against events strategy for major industry events and TM-hosted events.
• Work closely with Account Teams to understand client engagement and adoption of products/services. Support with appropriate messaging, positioning, and sales tools including data sheets, materials, case studies.
• Own flawless execution of B2C & B2B marketing campaigns and initiatives for clients/tours.
• Support strategic client and sales meetings with narrative development, deck creation.
• Attend and, where needed, lead calls and meetings with clients, delivering compelling formal presentations.
• Perform copywriting, image re-sizes and similar tasks related to marketing campaigns across channels.
• Provide ideas to improve processes and department performance; work with internal teams to implement.
• Provide excellent communication to clients and internal stakeholders.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES)
• BA/BS in Marketing or a related field
• 5-7 years of experience in B2B/product marketing or marketing related roles
• 3+ years of experience within the music industry, preferably live entertainment
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills. Ability to adjust style based on audience.
• Proven success as a B2B or product marketer, executing strategic priorities, supporting go-to-market strategies
• Experience with capturing client feedback to drive improvements in messaging and product development.
• Ability to effectively interact with clients and colleagues across the executive, mid-manager and day-to-day operations levels in a professional, service-oriented manner
• Track record of fostering teamwork and collaborating across groups to accomplish shared goals.
• Strong proficiency required in Microsoft Office products- particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Google Analytics, and Salesforce preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination will be required for this position subject to legally valid exemptions.
