THE TEAM

The Ticketmaster North America Accounting group is responsible for all aspects of preparing accounting entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, and reporting on the balance sheet in support of the Live Nation financial reporting process. The North America Accounting group is also responsible for coordinating and supporting internal and external audits related to the Ticketmaster North America division of Live Nation.

THE JOB

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to assist in all aspects of the daily reconciliation and month-end close process. Our ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter, highly organized with solid interpersonal skills and is highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and other enterprise level accounting software (i.e., Oracle Financials and/or SAP).

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Prepare daily and monthly reconciliation of assigned general ledger accounts related to various Ticketmaster lines of business including detailed AR tracking sheets, cash reconciliations, and liability reconciliations.
• Manage quarterly billings and settlements to clients.
• Prepare and record month-end journal entries as part of the monthly financial close process including booking revenue, liability, COGS, and intercompany.
• Support management to complete special projects, analysis requests, and ad-hoc reporting.
• Work with cross departmental personnel on a regular basis to resolve related accounting and reconciliation issues.
• Prepare schedules in support of internal and external audits including quarterly and annual SOX and financial audits and/or sales tax audits.
• Recommend process improvement initiatives as needed.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong Excel skills preferred including use of Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP function with high volume data.
• 3+ years of professional accounting experience with demonstrated increase in responsibility.
• Experience with Oracle Financials ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and multi-tasking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
• Ability to adapt work schedule to meet financial reporting deadlines as needed.

The expected compensation for this position in California is:
$64,480.00 USD - $75,000.00 USD
