THE ROLE

This role works as a Player/Coach to help guide and develop Live Nation University (LNU) programs, a new function dedicated to elevating employee experiences spanning from onboarding to higher level development. They'll report to the Live Nation University President and manage an intimate team with the goal of bringing immersive development programs to employees in various stages of their career. As an expert in learning and development, this role will help guide, build, and tactically bring to life several new employee-centered programs focused on elevating our culture and upskilling our employees. We're looking for someone who has experience rolling up their sleeves to evolve conceptual ideas into impactful employee development programs and experiences and can lead a team to execute a larger vision while playing a key role themself.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Establish and map out meaningful employee experience journeys that combine learning, development, community and culture.
• Under the direction of the LNU President, develop the curriculum, including an immersive onboarding program and mid-career development program that supports the LNU vision and is inline with Live Nation culture.
• Work with various business leaders to ensure content reflects the needs of the employee base, helps to recruit leaders to speak and engage with programming as appropriate.
• Identify qualified external consultants as needed, monitoring and managing their work (such as executive coaching, content providers, employee survey vendors, etc.).
• Build (and facilitate when necessary) in-person employee programs, applying modern adult learning theories to design and delivery.
• Collaborate with the People Operations & Development team to align on larger Live Nation Learning & Development and/or cultural objectives and when necessary, discuss opportunities to utilize the Learning Management System as it relates to employee learning plans.
• Take the lead on ad-hoc special projects as they relate to the employee experience and development journey.
• Manage the training design and uphold LNU/Live Nation branding standards and consistency across all resources.
• Help to translate the LNU programming vision into clear learning paths and programs that are built by the LNU Instructional Designer.
• Develop and trains the LNU Training Facilitator to successfully deliver training material in an engaging and culturally appropriate manner.
• Craft employee experiences both in-person and virtually to strengthen the Live Nation culture and community.
• Manage LNU program budgets and annual forecasting.
• Assess learning programs for effectiveness and pivot when necessary.
• For a future learning center, will manage and maintain the facility (schedules facilitators, training calendar, and work with onsite staff for overall upkeep).

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• A minimum of 7-10 years' experience building talent initiatives and development programs
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree in related field preferred
• Advanced knowledge of leadership development/management training needs and instructional design with an ability to apply modern adult learning theories to employee programs
• Experienced as a training facilitator, having a track record of impactful and effective program delivery to various business audiences, as needed can conduct a Train the Trainer
• Demonstrates the ability to present a clear, thorough content strategy to various audiences and articulate how this approach supports the learning objectives
• Strong client service skills and ability to execute in a demanding, fast paced environment
• Must be a strong team player, a strong mentor and possess strong influencing skills
• Strong interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills
• Ability to work closely with others and build positive working relationships across a highly decentralized organization
• A great attitude with the ability to work hard and have fun!
• Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Ability to consult with diverse stakeholders within a broad, decentralized business.
