THE TEAM
Ticketmaster Sport, part of Live Nation Entertainment is the largest live entertainment company in the world, consisting of five businesses: concert promotion and venue operations, sponsorship, ticketing solutions, ecommerce and artist management. The Ticketmaster Marketing team drives customer engagement via our Content, CRM and Performance Marketing channels, creating campaigns to retain existing fans, acquire new fans and ultimately drive sales.
The Tournaments team are responsible for delivering against this vision in major global sports events. Ticketmaster, in collaboration with our partner, Endeavor (https://endeavorco.com/), have secured the global rights to sell Hospitality experiences for the next 3 editions of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. A dedicated team is being created within the Ticketmaster Sport team to deliver this project, which represents the biggest hospitality rights deal in the world.
THE JOB
We're looking for a Marketing Director who is passionate about live entertainment and hospitality to lead the marketing workstream for our Olympic and Paralympic Hospitality project.
Working closely with the VP International Marketing, and the Heads of Marketing in each of Ticketmaster's 32 markets the successful candidate will be responsible for B2C marketing for the Paris 2024, Milano-Cortina 2026 and Los Angeles 2028 Games, and managing marketing relationships with our partner Endeavor, as well as the Organising Committees of the Games, and the IOC.
They will also work on our B2C marketing campaigns, developing creative and engaging campaigns and driving customer acquisition.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Work with the VP Marketing and the markets to deliver the B2C Marketing Strategy.
• Managing the marketing relationship with our partner, Endeavor
• Working alongside Endeavor to manage the marketing relationship with the Organising Committees of the three Olympic & Paralympic Games, and the IOC.
• Work with Head of Marketing and Content team on developing new B2C campaigns
• Produce marketing plans across events and sales phases to drive fan engagement and sales. Manage implementation of plan across marketing channels, monitor effectiveness and provide recommendations.
• Attend pitches for prospective incremental revenue streams to present marketing.
• Working closely with the CRM Manager to implement CRM strategy to increase customer engagement.
• Working closely with the Content team to implement Content strategy across SEO, organic social and content channels.
• Work with Heads of Marketing and Content team on developing new campaigns
• Working closely with the Head of Performance Marketing to implement digital strategy across paid search, paid social, programmatic and affiliate channels.
• Source new paid campaigns and any other additional revenue opportunities
• Report on Marketing Activity and produce weekly reports with a thorough understanding of GA
• Create new engaging campaigns for Ticketmaster social channels
• Represent the company, as required at pitches, meetings and events across the world.
• To undertake any other relevant duties which fall under the general scope of this role as directed by the Chairman.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)
• Understanding of the entertainment industry with venue experience, ideally in sport.
• Understanding of the sports hospitality industry.
• Digital marketing experience including campaign management
• Client Management experience
