Job Description
THE JOB

Ticketmaster is seeking a Lead iOS Engineer to drive the development of the next generation of mobile apps and SDKs for its ticketing platform. As Lead iOS Engineer, you will collaborate with highly talented and supportive engineers from Quality and Development backgrounds, Designers, Project Managers and Product Managers on innovative projects building world-class products.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Lead iOS architecture & feature development that leverage the latest technologies, such as extensions, inter-app communication and more
• Work closely with product managers and UX team to define product scope and design
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior iOS team members
• Help your team to improve the technical quality of their work through regular technical design and code reviews
• Partner with QA and Infrastructure engineers to automate our build & test pipeline and fix hard-to-reproduce bugs
• Collaborate with backend teams on API development in conjunction with iOS development
• Work with the Manager, Mobile Development to define team KPI's & weekly capacity planning

TECHNICAL SKILLS
• 6+ years of professional native iOS development experience using Objective-C and/or Swift
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming in a constrained mobile environment
• Experience with implementing and executing CI/CD, TDD, & BDD development processes
• Prior experience with MVVM pattern and reactive frameworks (is a plus)
• Experience with Agile Development Methodology (e.g., Scrum)
• Exposure to and/or experience with Android development (is a plus)

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
• The ability to embrace and implement new technologies by keeping up-to-date w/ (beta iOS releases, new frameworks)
• Must have worked in position/s which have product releases on a frequent basis with track record of delivering quality
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Able to communicate effectively with Senior leadership regarding estimates, status, etc
• Expert experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA process
• Adapts to change, open to new ideas, eager to take on new responsibilities, handles pressure well, and adjusts priorities to meet changing needs
• Results oriented and can be counted on to meet or exceed goals; pushes self and others for improved results
• Deals with problems as they arise, focusing energy and resources on those situations until resolved; identifies new opportunities and takes action; takes on new responsibilities when needed
• Highly motivated self-starter who can work with minimal supervision while promoting teamwork and group achievement
• Experience with bug / issues tracking tools such as JIRA
