THE JOB

The Director, Artist & Promoter Relations EMEA is the face of Ticketmaster Music to the artist community and plays a critical role in cultivating strategic relationships with the teams supporting some of the largest touring artists in the world. The Director, Artist & Promoter Relations is an expert on all relevant TM products and services, representing them to our partners, educating the artist community and helping them reach their touring goals.

The Director, Artist & Promoter Relations acts as an advocate of the artist within Ticketmaster, representing their interests, making decisions on their behalf, and working within Ticketmaster to meet/exceed the established goals for the tour. This role is relied upon to provide critical insight into the touring business as a whole, introducing key priorities, and driving decision-making.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Maintain a highly visible and positive presence for Ticketmaster Music within the artist and touring community, developing strong, consultative relations with key global and local promoters, agents, and managers.
• Lead business strategy, growth, and development for your line of business. Manage key touring accounts, becoming a specialist in their unique needs and mapping those to Ticketmaster product and technology solutions.
• Develop and lead a team of EMEA Artist & Promoter Relations professionals to serve as strategic account managers for touring artists within your region. This team, among other responsibilities, will be tasked with overseeing the strategy and execution of hundreds of onsales per year – educating clients on Ticketmaster products that allow them to capture data and demand, sell more tickets, connect with more fans, maximize revenue, transform data to insights, and prevent fraud and abuse.
• Define the KPIs for your key accounts, with an emphasis on client adoption and configuration of our Ticketmaster Music product suite. Monitor, assess, and report on progress to both internal and external leadership on an ongoing basis, identifying potential friction points or opportunities for development.
• Partner with Artist & Promoter Relations delegates based in markets within your region to drive further consistency for desired onsale/touring outcomes for your clients. Solicit local perspective on deliverability of requirements and adapt for or resolve any inconsistencies at the local level versus the tour level.
• First line of support for day-to-day client needs; taking the lead in managing and motivating various cross-collaborative team members toward meeting client expectations regarding established tour objectives and desired outcomes.
• Support the VP, Artist & Promoter Relations EMEA in partnering with local market leadership across your region to forge and deliver on their respective Music strategies, defining and developing KPIs that you will report on to both internal leadership and external client partners as appropriate.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
• Proven years relevant music industry experience.
• Previous experience at a ticketing company, concert/festival promoter, talent agency, or management company is a must.
• Strong, existing relationships with key touring promoters, artist managers, and agents preferred, as well as a deep knowledge of the live industry value chain.
• Technical expertise in areas such as analytics/reporting (including settlements/audits).
• Familiarity with a number of different ticketing systems, products, website, apps – including Ticketmaster.
• Proficient in Windows and Google product suite. Salesforce experience a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to make the complex simple.
• Team management experience, proven years experience managing 1 or more direct reports.
