Job Description

Location: London, UK
Division: Ticketmaster UK and IE
Line Manager: Senior Content Manager
Contract Terms: 12 month contract, 40 hours per week
THE TEAM
Ticketmaster UK, part of Live Nation Entertainment is the largest live entertainment company in the world, consisting of five businesses: concert promotion and venue operations, sponsorship, ticketing solutions, ecommerce and artist management. The Ticketmaster Marketing team drives customer engagement via our Content, CRM and Performance Marketing channels, creating campaigns to retain existing fans, acquire new fans and ultimately drive sales.
THE JOB
This is a new role, with a need identified to help support the existing Content team in the creation and maintenance of all copy across the Ticketmaster UK site.
The Content Executive will have three main areas of focus:
1) Administration – serving as the main point of contact for requests. Dealing with time-sensitive requests fielded from the wider UK Marketing team, the Content Executive will effectively and efficiently respond to requests to update copy, images and information across the Ticketmaster site. Busy announcements and short-notice changes mean the ideal candidate will be great at working to tight deadlines, and will have a sharp eye for detail.
2) SEO content-creation. Working alongside the SEO Editor, the Content Executive will assist in the creation of SEO-first editorial content to support business priorities. This might include writing an original synopsis for a new West End show, building a listicle on the best places to take the kids over Christmas, or updating a guide to the biggest metal festivals in the country.
3) General editing/proofing. Working alongside the Digital Sub-Editor, the Content Executive will also help to ensure that all content meets TOV and brand guidelines. The Content Executive will assist in proofing weekly newsletters and emails, as well as checking content across all editorial and artist pages.
In addition, the Content Executive would be assisting in the general creation and editing of content and campaigns across the Ticketmaster UK site. Working in the Content team, part of the Marketing team, they would be an intrinsic part of making sure fans and clients alike are best served by Ticketmaster UK.
Applicants will be dynamic content editors with excellent copywriting and proof-reading skills. They will collaborate well with members of the wider business to create, facilitate and promote word-perfect copy. They will be great at multi-tasking, at juggling short-notice requests, and at keeping a tight focus under pressure. At the same time, the ideal candidate will have a passion for editorial, a keen interest in SEO, and a real love of live entertainment.
