Contract Terms: Permanent, 40 hours per week
THE TEAM
The role will report to Financial Controller of Ticketmaster Sports, a proud division of Live Nation Entertainment, with more than 40 years of experience, is the world's leading live event ticketing company selling over 465 million tickets each year in over 29 countries worldwide.
THE JOB
The Accountant will provide support to financial director and wider finance team by helping to prepare financial statements, accounts, budgets, processing invoices and preparing VAT returns. Accountant will be a key member of the finance team who is responsible for the finalisation of month-end and year-end accounts.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries as per established and statutory accounting standards
• Assist in preparing monthly reports, financial statements, and budgets.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Meet reporting deadlines (external and internal ones)
• Prepare documentation and assist in financial audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Assist with tax preparation and compliance, including VAT, payroll taxes, and other relevant taxes.
• Administration tasks related to the duties of the position as required
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS)
• Degree in Finance or Accounting or related economic studies
• Minimum 4-5 years in a similar role, in a Finance Department
• Good knowledge of Greek Accounting standards, Greek Tax Law and IFRS or relevant certification will be considered as an asset
• Fluency in English
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability of deadlines attainment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills are required.
