Job Description
The Orchard, Director, Account Management, Apple US will report to the Vice President, Digital Account Management, US & CA and is responsible for day to day US digital account management for Apple, liaising with the Labels/Product Managers to plan, pitch, and execute campaigns as well as managing 2 (two) team members.

Responsibilities:
• Report directly to Vice President, Digital Account Management, US & CA, to identify company priorities, plan strategy across the selected account group, create/develop campaigns, track success, and create result-driven campaign recaps combining analytics and marketing.
• Oversee 2 (two) day to day Account Managers for The Orchard's Apple US business while aiding to drive overall strategy for the account for global priorities as identified by the Vice President, Digital Account Management, US & CA.
• Lead the relationships across the Apple account base, from day to day contacts to editorial and others.
• Responsible for creating, leading and presenting account pitches and presentations along with the Account Managers to ensure they are covering The Orchard's identified priorities.
• Lead Account Managers for Apple US in meetings and participate in all US sales team calls to help strategize and execute on release plans.
• Liaise with the Label Management, Artist Services, Analytics, Marketing, and Advertising teams on artist/ label plans and assets ensuring we are fully optimizing sales and marketing opportunities with all divisions at the account base.
• Drive new business initiatives with Apple to maximize artist exposure including strengthening relationships across multiple areas at account including content/ editorial, marketing, sponsorship, reporting, and day to day contacts.
• Create and share insights and analysis with Account Managers and Label/Product Managers on opportunities to enhance our business/ artist exposure.
• Participate in label calls and make presentations to Labels and accounts on behalf of The Orchard.
• Communicate to the team developments and opportunities at Apple.
• Represent The Orchard US Digital Sales team in label meetings, conferences, etc. with the ability to knowledgeably speak regarding this account base.
• Regularly attend shows and develop/ maintain social relationships with the account base personnel and Labels.

Requirements:
• Prior experience with relationship management (content, sales, and/ or marketing) and/or working for a distributor with contextualizing data
• Working knowledge of the music industry, and a passionate commitment to music and artists
• Excellent time management, organization, attention to details and communication skills are a must
• Must be respectful, assertive, confident, and self-motivated
• Ability to work under pressure and balance priorities while being a team player across multiple teams
• An effective communicator on phone, email, and in person
