The Mill is looking for a Client Engagement Executive to join the New Business team in London. We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented individual, who will work closely with the Head of New Business and Head of Culture & Studio Operations, and will play an integral role in helping to curate and manage events both internally for our staff, and externally for our clients and creative collaborators. The Client Engagement Executive will work collaboratively with the New Business and Marketing teams on developing a robust calendar of client focused events and activities to help drive and generate new business opportunities, in line with our annual strategic campaigns and external industry events such as awards shows and festivals. In addition, the Client Engagement Executive will work closely with the Head of Culture & Studio Operations and Hospitality Manager on curating and executing internal events and initiatives for our London Studio, aimed to inspire, excite and delight our teams, ensuring that The Mill retains its reputation for exceptional company culture. The ideal candidate will have production company or agency experience; bringing with them relationships with agency producers, brands and creatives, along with a hunger and enthusiasm for creativity, inspiring a positive company culture and event planning.

R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S
• Support the Head of New Business on budgeting, logistics and planning for parties, lunches and events with our agency, production company and direct to brand clients.
• Oversee and manage festival and award show attendance. This will include budget management, entertainment bookings (i.e. restaurants, venues and entertainment), pre-travel briefings, working with Production and New Biz team to secure client attendance, agendas for attendees and arranging per diems / floats / credit cards as necessary.
• Organise and run quarterly agency reviews sessions with Production.
• Compile a weekly client ents report outlining which studio and external events are taking place and who is entertaining which clients that week.
• With Head of New Business, compile weekly internal mail-out highlighting key industry news plus client ent options for producers; new restaurants/bars/exhibitions/theatre etc.
• Curate regular internal client events (nail bar / prosecco salon / winter warmer etc.)
• Work with the Head of New Biz on coordinating production company showcases on 1st floor
• Support the New Biz team with client showcases, organising logistics such as deck preparation, travel, presentation space & tech check at agency. Internal Culture & Events
• Support the Head of Culture & Studio Operations on managing and executing all internal events such as bi-monthly staff showcases and Surprise & Delight initiatives (i.e. pancake day, Halloween, Easter).
• Plan The Mill's Summer and Christmas parties in collaboration with the Head of Culture & Studio Operations and Hospitality Manager. This will include venue research, coming up with theme / plan for the night, booking and liaising with entertainment, ordering decorations and props, budget management etc.
• Work with the Head of Culture & Studio Operations and Creative HODs on coordinating Learning and Development initiatives and workshops such as Learning at Work Week, Mental Health Awareness Week and Freshers Week.
• Help to coordinate events and initiatives to support The Mill's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts in collaboration with the Head of Culture & Studio Operations.
• Support on comms plan for internal events where required.
• Management of studio diary including client events, talent events, HR events etc.
• Work with Hospitality Manager on large scale building installs such as Christmas, Halloween, Pride etc. Ensure that large internal events are planned within the lines of the standard proposal template to ensure all areas are defined and strategised. These plans should include the below, which should be signed off by MD & relevant stakeholders: budget, comms, decor, PR, photography, social, messaging, key branding.

Qualifications
• Experience at either a production company, advertising agency or similar - desired but not essential.
• Proven track record of coordinating and executing both small and large scale events.
• Strong communication skills and an excellent way with words.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Highly self-motivated.
• Ability to work autonomously and part of a wider team.
• Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships.
• Ability to act as a conduit between multiple departments and key stakeholders.
• IT literate and experience using software such as InDesign and Photoshop would be advantageous but not essential
