Job Description
Tennis Channel is seeking a Production Finance & Accounting Manager to support the Production Department to work as the right hand to the Director, Production Finance & Accounting on the day-to-day management. They will work cross-functionally with Business and Legal Affairs, Production, Programming, Finance and Accounting, Production Finance, Creative (Content), International, Treasury, and Human Resources.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Work closely with production accounting/management teams on a day-to-day basis to ensure accurate, complete and timely cost reporting.
• Act as a key resource to the various departments on network policies and procedures; provide guidance on corporate structure, VAT, and bill backs.
• Manage accounts payable, expense report, purchase card, and freelance payroll workflows for Production and Programming departments.
• Coordinate heavy volume of deal memos for non-staff production personnel.
• Assist Director, Production Finance & Accounting with monthly and quarterly forecasts, accruals, amortization, flash reporting, and special projects (as needed)
• Assist Finance with cash flow projections and variance analysis.
• Maintain monthly, quarterly, annual, and five-year plans of rights/license fee schedules.
• Help manage Production overhead budgets and forecast as needed.
• Maintain freelance rate cards keeping for weekly freelance labor. Liaison with Human Resources and Crewing Manager to ensure offers are within CA labor guidelines and budgets.
• Manage weekly freelance timecards ranging between 75-150.
• Ensure AP coding, approvals, and payments are processed in a timely manner.
• Coordinate VAT submission for European events.
• Ensure expense reports are processed timely and accurately.
• Partner with Director, Production Finance & Accounting to maintain pcard balance for upcoming travel.
• Demonstrate knowledge of technical crew positions, ENG/EFP crew positions, and crew duties for Studio and Remote TV Productions including but not limited to linear broadcasting and streaming platforms.
• Work closely with Production, Finance, Accounting, Legal and Business Affairs teams during the budgeting process to review, analyze and vet production budgets.

Required Qualifications:
• Educational background with accounting/finance, or business, four-year college degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years' experience in Production Accounting or Finance
• Experience with non-union production and guidelines in various formats
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently, prioritize and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Oracle Project Module Software or similar major production accounting software
• Experience with live events and/or professional sports a plus
• Experience with international startups a plus
• Ability to solve problems, deal with difficult personalities, act with discretion
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

The base salary compensation range for this role is $80,000 to $95,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
