Job Description
WWL-TV in New Orleans has an opening for an Experienced Television and Digital Account Executive to join our market leading sales team! WWL-TV is owned by Tegna, which owns 64 broadcast TV stations across the country.

This is a rare opportunity, that just became available, to work with a list of established clients. You will also be responsible for generating new business revenue across our TV stations (WWL-TV, WUPL-TV and Newswatch 15) and on our digital platforms (wwltv.com, Audience Marketplace and Premion OTT).

This is a performance-based position that requires being able speak the language of advertising to agencies and to simplify marketing for local business owners. You need to be able to work independently to create new business opportunities and work as a team to create custom advertising solutions for clients.

Responsibilities: What will you do?
• Achieve all broadcast and digital sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Maximize share of business from an assigned list of local and regional accounts
• Develop new revenue through effective cold calling of new local direct businesses in Southeast Louisiana.
• Grow existing relationships by selling sponsorships, digital solutions, and Premion OTT.
• Partner with Account Manager & Project Manager to provide exceptional customer service to clients.
• Partner with Account Manager to organize and prioritize business to successfully meet goals and deadlines.
• Create effective verbal & written marketing presentations in collaboration with Account Manager, Project Manager, and Research Director.
• Manage day to day activity, pipeline, and forecasts using Matrix.

Job Requirements:

Requirements: What you need?
• 2+ years of broadcast television sales or media sales experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience in using qualitative research and/or other marketing research tools
• Experience in WideOrbit and Matrix preferred
