Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Support the management, sales, news and marketing teams with research and insights that help drive business decisions: this includes, but is not limited to programming performance, audience insights, advertising spending reports, and consumer research.
• Create daily, weekly, and/or monthly success stories one-sheets that best position our Owned & Operated stations vs. the competition
• Create and/or maintain routine audience performance trackers
• Help evaluate performance of Nielsen audience samples/panels
• Create and/or update sales collateral materials including, but not limited to, media kits, industry category decks, and viewer profiles
• Process adhoc requests from account executives and other internal stakeholders
• Assist in the production of custom presentations for advertising clients
• Evaluate programming estimates
• Serve as back-up for program titling

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, statistics, or another quantitative or analytical field preferred; specialization in data science is a plus.
• At least 2 years of experience in a data driven and/or media marketing role
• Ability to interpret large amounts of data and provide insights
• Proficiency in data visualization; ability to tell stories through data in a compelling and creative way
• Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables, lookups, and logic statements to manipulate and analyze data; knowledge of data visualization tools like PowerBi and Tableau is a plus
• Proficiency in PowerPoint is required
• Knowledge of Nielsen and/or Comscore ratings (including applicable software) and other syndicated media research sources such as Scarborough, Simmons, Kantar, and POLK Automotive (a plus).
• Experience in digital analytics is a plus
