Job Description

NBC 6 / Telemundo 51 WTVJ/WSCV has an immediate opening for a highly motivated Multi-Platform Preditor to join our award-winning duopoly creative services team. The creative individual will have a passion for news and video production and will be responsible for writing, producing and editing breakthrough multi-platform promos. This position reports to the Promotion Manager.

Responsibilities:
• Must be able to create, conceptualize, write, edit and post-produce cutting-edge promos, commercials, and videos (for digital and other channels) while also managing deadlines.
• A minimum of 2 years as an on-air promotions writer / producer or multi-platform producer.
• Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Marketing, Advertising or Visual Arts or equivalent or work experience in same field.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Extensive experience scripting and editing short form and long form spots.
• Fresh ideas on how video and sound can be deployed in different ways to support the brand across multiple platforms.
• Adapts to change rapidly, handles multiple assignments well, functions well under pressure, and reprioritizes quickly without compromising quality.
• Is collaborative and works well in a team environment across various departments.
• Proficiency in creative software tools Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop,
• Adobe® After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Audition.
• Able to work a flexible schedule and shifts including evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays, breaking news and weather events.
• Possess a professional approach, proven good judgment and high ethics.
• Ability to understand big picture trends.
• Ability to successfully build positive client relationships.
• Must be a self-starter, highly organized with the ability to multi-task

Qualifications
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Must be willing to work in Miami/Ft. Lauderdale Area.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
