Job Description
The Senior Traffic Team Specialist will be a top performing Senior Traffic Team Specialist who is efficient, effective, and accurate with programming/format changes, inventory management, applying copy, and has a desire to share his or her knowledge and expertise with new and newer members of the team
In addition to completing program and format changes for one station, the successful candidate will manage inventory and logs for 1-2 stations
The Senior Traffic Team Specialist will also work closely with TEGNA's Continuity Manager to provide back-up support when needed
The Senior Traffic Team Specialist will not have direct reports, but is expected to act in a mentorship role for teammates seeking professional guidance and programming and inventory management strategy.

Responsibilities:
• Primary Programming Specialist for one primary (ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, CW or MyNet) station
• Work with station programming contacts to update WideOrbit Traffic to match stations' program grids
• Work directly with networks (primarily via network websites) to obtain network programming information and input it into WideOrbit Traffic
• Work closely with TCO Programming Specialists on program questions and issues and troubleshoot formatting issues with TCO Managers, Inventory Specialists, and station contacts
• Proactively work with above contacts to achieve better streamlining and standardization of programming and formatting
• Primary Inventory Specialist for 1-2 stations
• Clear displaced, sep and finalize log, generate playlist, clear oversells for 13 weeks out in Inventory Report
• Provide advice and guidance to station sales team to maximize revenue and minimize errors
• Assist with quality control programming checks across all TEGNA stations
• Check for consistency with inventory codes, program titles and format structure as provided by the networks across all TEGNA stations
• Provide back-up coverage for TEGNA Continuity Manager
• Apply traffic instructions to multi-market orders
• Work with TEGNA Sales Fulfillment Manager to communicate traffic instructions to the field for multi-market orders

Job Requirements:
• Thorough understanding of WideOrbit applications and processes
• Minimum of 3 years programming experience with WideOrbit Traffic and ability to implement all program and format changes, per station, network and master control requests and requirements without additional supervision
• Minimum of 3 years log management experience with WideOrbit Traffic
• Minimum of 3 years linear copy experience with WideOrbit Traffic and ability to bundle material traffic instructions for multi-market orders and allocate house #'s
• Desire and ability to identify, communicate and implement traffic/TCO best practices

Preferred:
• Working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
