First Coast News, WTLV NBC12, and WJXX ABC25, a TEGNA company, is looking for a Director of Research to support the content, marketing, and sales teams by helping us grow our brand and audience on all platforms through data-driven decisions and help grow our client's business. Responsibilities:
• Oversee all research functions including Nielsen, Media Monitors and Stowell Research.
• Develop customized proposals, recaps and posts for Account Executives.
• Help differentiate our brand in the market by utilizing our ratings and indexing.
• Help develop long term strategies with the Sales and News Departments.
• Deliver pre-campaign insights, strategy, tactics, and post-campaign effectiveness for First Coast News, and its advertisers.
• Find data stories from internal and external research sources.
• Simplify complex information into proper context with actionable insights.
• Collaborate with news, sales, and marketing on strategies that drive ratings and revenue
• Partner with internal stakeholders and 3rd party vendors on executing research to support station initiatives.

• Minimum 2-5 years experience in marketing, research, or related field.
• Ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to take the initiative.
• On-location Work Environment in Jacksonville, Florida.
• Understanding of audience measurement tools like Nielsen, comScore, Google Analytics, and consumer-facing analytics; social media, Scarborough, Media Monitors.
