Job Description

• Participate in a creation of a very large scale backend API (PHP/MySQL/NoSQL).
• Write backend code and design databases.
• Actively participate in the whole process of development, from initial design to deployment and support.
• Proactively communicate with colleagues to refine application design
• Suggest and implement high-tech, innovative solutions.
• Optimize backend code, look for bottlenecks and, as and when necessary, implement visualization and monitoring systems.

Qualifications
• Experience with any variety of CMS systems (Wordpress, Drupal, Magento etc).
• Strong technical skills in PHP OOP and PHP frameworks such as Laravel and Code Igniter or similar.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices, you have heard of OWASP, know what SQL injection is and preferably have good e-commerce build experience.
• Advanced SQL (MySql) skills.
• Experience working with Rest, Soap, Curl, OAuth based APIs.
• You have strong testing and debugging skills to ensure a quality end product.
• You communicate technical subjects well and write organised and sustainable code
• You are as comfortable with front end technology as you are server-side technology.
• You have a minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in a medium to senior development role.
