MPC Visualization is a quickly growing studio looking to expand our team! We are renowned for adding visual wonder and creative expertise to the film, advertising and entertainment industries. Some of our most famous projects include blockbuster movies The Lion King, Cruella, Detective Pikachu, and Blade Runner 2049.
An Unreal TD at MPC Visualization works to develop tools to bolster out existing workflow and tools. They also work to develop the look and style of sequences and assets in Unreal, while ensuring a smooth transition between Maya and Unreal.
Key Responsibilities:
• Developing, testing, and maintaining of Unreal pipeline, including proprietary software tools and components.
• Investigating bugs/issues with existing tools, while participating in designing and implementing fixes and features as needed.
• Work directly with artists to investigate and address urgent issues related to custom pipeline tools.
• Ensure a seamless transition of assets and animation between Maya and Unreal.
• Serve as an active participant in team art discussions, critiques, and reviews.
• Troubleshooting, profiling and optimizing game engine scenes and tools.
• Assist the team in preparing sequences for rendering in Unreal.
Qualifications
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills with the team, producers, directors and clients
• Comfortable working and delivering under pressure and on schedule
• Understanding of entire virtual production pipeline
• Familiarity with the entire VFX pipeline
• Self-motivated problem solver
Experience:
• Strong knowledge of Unreal and Unreal Blueprints
• Experienced with Unreal Sequencer tool
• Experienced creating functional levels in Unreal
• Working experience with the Perforce version control system
• Experience working with Maya
Bonus Qualifications:
• Experience with Python or C++
• Experience with GIT
• Familiarity with After Effects
